Transitioning
Living check-to-check is exhausting and annoying. While having to, transitioning from one job to another for better pay, another job that requires training, I'm worried about money, rent money, car insurance money, child support money, food and drink money! I really want to drive tractor trailer (flatbed and dry van) all across the United States and even into Canada. Who does paid training?

Driving a truck is a good solid living. You need to prioritize your needs, not wants. You can get paid training. What you don’t need are unnecessary expenses. Your kids deserve that much. Drink money is a want, not a need. Focus on doing right by your kids. The rest will fall into place.

FedeX. You are going to have to JUST DO IT! Stop TALKING ABOUT IT DO IT! TALK DOES NOT MOVE MOUNTAINS. While You are at it get a TWIC card. If you live Near a Port your Earning potential goes way up. (Drink money!)...could that be the question?.....every taxable bottle that goes into ya could go into training......(I'm writing this as I'm writing to myself)....train not to drink....everyone wonders where's the money going now.....

I do not know, what I do know is your not alone, most of the world is struggling, smart people are able to succeed, they have the ability to plan, wait, and act on opportunity, and you to can do this. Seed, time, and harveat, good luck.

Consider moving to Chicago

FedEx Freight does paid training. It's a 4 week driver apprentice training paid for new recruits! Paid$20 /HR, hotel expenses, $50/week for food and rental car if needed. I personally went through the course with no prior experience. It's a great start and huge opportunity to make really good money and to be home daily once training is complete. You go for a week at a time and hombre for the weekend for 4 weeks. Good luck!!!

XPO....was aka Con Way Freight. They changed names. I know first hand they do. Good Luck

Ask a current truck driver. Some companies may /will screw you over, so be careful. Schneider (the big pumpkin ) is a place to look.
