Trying so hard
I left an abusave marriage of 14yrs. I was a stay at home mom. I don’t have much schooling and I am 47 years old. No place wants to hire me because I am old and I don’t have experience. I am one class away from my medical assistant associates degree. I have two kids and if someone won’t give me a chance to shine we will be in a homeless shelter. Should I just lie on my resume?
Well good heavens I don't know where to start here. First if you don't have confidence in you who will. Getting through school is a huge accomplishment. Make sure you play that up on the resume and please don't lie. That will really sink you. Create a new future from the ashes of your past.

Never lie your resume needs to reflect you were CEO you ran the house update your resume also check in with the community college to get that degree
U have to go at a job like u are not the legal age u are but the age the job requires. Be full of energy and life, and show them that u have potential too because you're hungry to show your kids it's never too late to go after what u want.
No dont lie, your going to land that job. Go to a temporary agency for now for work,while you get your degree. Have faith. Stay positive.
Stay positive and build your Confidence its very Attractive. Finish your Class and apply for every position within reason. You are not too old to get Hired. Security Personnel is always in demand. Most Companies have no age limit and all you need is a Diploma and some common sense. Its steady pay and not strenuous. Blessings to you!
You do not need to lie my dear,because you might get caught.Just keep on applying God will provide you job but not immediately but definitely .

No, I believe you do not have to lie. God is more than able to make a way for you. Just believe, have faith and trust in him that he will make a way for you. Be Blessed!!!
dear trying so hard, please even though you are so totally frustrated by these current events reduce yourself to a lie on your resume my opinion to you a very brave woman carry on and get your degree and when all is said and done you will shine for all other jobcasers to see. god bless and look after you.
