Hi Tina,
I know it must be upsetting, but keep your head up! Employers are often inundated with dozens (even hundreds) of applications, so a lot of times, they just don't have the time to get back to everyone. You're doing the right thing - apply to all the jobs you qualify for and follow up on every single application by calling or emailing the hiring manager. If you can, consider dropping in on the location with your resume to follow up. It's a great way to show employers that you're enthusiastic about the job role.
If you're worried about age being a factor, I would take out any dates from your resume. Don't include your year of high school graduation, or the years you worked at your job. Instead, highlight your skills and experience. That can help you land the interview - then you'll get the chance to dazzle them!
Hope this helps! Do any other Jobcasers have advice?
