Looking for work with medical coverage. I am a home health Aide. A month ago I went to the 1199 office and I asked the question why as a home does not have medical coverage and the man said to me that i have to work over 30 hours in order for me to get coverage. But union dues is being taking out of my check every month. I need a another job with better benefits.

I am a registered Nurse but i have not yet got a good full time job and stable and yet i have children to manage.please assist.

Is it possible for u to apply for ACA I am a home health worker n with multi health issues

Very Simple, do not take a client or job for less than 30 hours a week. Ask your union for a refund or to explain why your paying for medical but your not getting it? Or possibly try full time with a 30 hour guarantee.

I have heard that many times over and employer with benefits honestly no such a thing actually exist I've looked and looked and looked so you're throwing the towel you accept the job and then you carry your own insurance they already got the programs out there for medical and dental and I pay the premiums like everything else and just be done with it it's pure unadulterated nonsense looking for something that doesn't exist

Sounds like a company owned union

Then the Union is not negotiating the appropriate contract deal for all it's members and if all members are not covered equally then the Union is not entitled to their Union dues. This is due to a result of poor representation. This is coming from a former Union coal miner and an LPN for over 26 years. When dues stop the deals will get better including better pay and more hours.

Hii

Hi

Union? Are they still around? Worthless, out dated.
You have to think positive the glass can be half full or half empty, I think we should be grateful, sometimes little things mean a lot.
