Hi Everyone! HELP!!

Last week I applied for a part time receptionist position at a retirement community in South Florida off Indeed. I then reapplied last weekend with additional details. Then around Tuesday I contacted HR at the home office and left a voicemail. Got no response. Then Wednesday I left a voicemail with the local office, same thing. I have not received a call or Email for an interview. What steps if any should I take?

When ever sinful Man closes a door, God opens a door to a better place for those who have faith in Him in the name of His son Jesus Christ. I have had many jobs where I was treated like crap. But that is the problem of the boss or coworkers treating you like that. don't own their antisocial problem. Keep an inner joy knowing that, as long as you believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins (you are not perfect either) and you accept that, then you will enter wonderful Heaven for ever more. However, this is nice to know, but it does not always stay in our mind. i find that keeping inexpensive, simple treats as rewards for myself helps a lot; Perhaps the boss yells at me for having a 1-minute soda when it is not break time and you are sweating mopping the floor, but keep in mind that when you get home you are going to watch your favorite TV show while eating candy. God will bless you. God will use you if you keep His commandments. If you keep God's commandments, then the people at work who mistreat you will wonder why they can't bother you, why you have a strong work ethic, why you don;t gossip, why you are always happy, etc. They are going to want to be like you. When coworkers and bosses mistreat you and throw anger fits, their emotions are painful for them. They are going to want the happiness and joy that you have. So, just ignore them and stay happy in front of them. When they ask you why you are always so joyful, tell them that it is because Jesus loves you. i do not mean to impose my religion on you. However, i am a Christian and truely believe in my religion. God bless. Frank

Pauline, Indeed is one of the Job placement notification I receive everyday, but I have never been able to communicate with them like you have done. You did more than most of us by calling Indeed office number whereas you could leave messages; because on my computer, I can only view the first page of the job announcements from many of them, and thereafter, the pages gives me an error. All I suggest is for you to keep trying other Job placement agencies and with faith, hope something come through for you.

Try to apply to another jobs. Obviously they don't have ant interest in your persona. It's not anything personal, only the way it is.

How is it possible to reapply through Indeed once an application was already submitted for a job? Making multiple calls does not guarantee an interview...I would just wait and allow them to screen applications. Ultimately, they decide which candidates are selected to participate in the interview process.

I would look elsewhere. They are apparently inept at returning calls or are nor in need of help. Companies Luke that are not where you want to be.

I have found this to be very common. I have applied for many jobs in my field only to never hear a response from most of them. Personally, I feel that is very rude on their part. I even have attended job fairs sponsored by potential employers and when I questioned their lack of response they try to make it as if I failed to complete something on my part. When I prove otherwise I get this deer in the headlights look.
