My Step dad and I worked at Dunham Price LLC in Westlake La. They said they where downsizing. So they laid off my stepdad. The only other person they laid off was me! It's been about 2 months and still, just him and me. I tried to tell them I have nothing to do with him. They kept saying that they were just downsizing. I said to them, " this is discrimination!" They said if I wanted to get upset, well then they wouldn't pay me for the rest of the month either! I had to bite my tongue. I'm a single mother that was doing a great job for them! I think it's wrong! I needed that money. I'm having a hard time finding a job that even comes close to the money I was making. I was finally going to get my son and I out of a negitive living situation! They r just heartless, and my main point it was discrimination by association!!
