Third stimulus changes that could get you more money

The third installment of stimulus payments to American citizens is on its way, and for many it couldn’t come sooner. With so many missing income or struggling with more expenses during the #coronavirus pandemic, it’s important to ensure the largest payment possible for those who really need it. If you’re hoping for a larger stimulus payment this time around, here are some factors that could increase qualify you for the standard $1,400 payment or more.
What factors could now increase stimulus payments?
Individuals whose earnings decreased during the pandemic
For Americans whose income decreased due to either a loss or change of job, their qualification for a third stimulus payment could actually have increased. If you made over $80k per year in adjusted gross income (AGI) in your last tax filing, but under $80k in 2020, you now qualify for a stimulus payment.
Families with children or adults as dependents
This round of stimulus payments rewards families who have many dependents to care for, whether those be dependents who are children or adults. Previous waves of stimulus payments did not provide additional stimulus money to children over a certain age or additional money for adult dependents within a family unit. This time, however, there is no such limit and families can collect $1,400 per each dependent within their household.
Mixed citizenship families
Previously, families that included non-citizens could have been left out of receiving all or part of their stimulus payment. Now that restriction has been lifted, so families where not all are American citizens can still receive the stimulus money they need.
New families: Just married or welcoming new children in 2020
Throughout the pandemic new families have continued to form and grow. If you got married or had children in 2020, your family could receive extra money. Parents of children born in 2020 could receive and extra $1,100 with their stimulus payment and newly married couples who filed their 2020 taxes jointly could receive more based on their combined dependents.
How to get the most out of your stimulus payment
If your family status puts you into one of the groups that could collect more, make sure to file your 2020 taxes so the IRS has the most up to date information about your qualifications for a larger stimulus payment.

I didn’t receive nun of my stimulus check and I filed my taxes and didn’t get nun of them

I AM ALSO ON SSDI AND HAVENT RECEIVED MY THIRD STIMULUS CHECK.

I am on SSDI and still haven’t received my third stimulus check why?

Since this time last March 2020 I’ve had to bring my 90 year old dad into my home to live due to him having dementia and taking care of him. As well as not being able to work except for trying to work from home selling goods on marketplace (Rae Dunn items) to bring in a little extra income to help with all these bills. With all his medications, in and out of the hospital and rehabilitation facilities a year now, they’re trying to go after his social security which isn’t enough to pay all his co-pays for doctors appointments, medications, etc. he has Medicare and Medicaid and they still trying to go after his social security when his Medicare pays 21 days of being in a rehabilitation facility before he becomes self pay and (Medicaid starts paying). 🤦♀️ Everyone that’s kept a household of any amount of time knows an extra person cost. All my utilities has went up, my groceries, personal items etc. this $1400 I’m very grateful for but there has to be some kind of extra help out there??!! Also he’s a Veteran.

I am a disabled senior I haven't received not 1 stimulus check yet. .can somebody tell me the reason why..is it a lottery?????

I filed my taxes and does the information on your taxes update your bank information for the stimulus?

I just had back surgery, can’t walk without a walker, live alone and I’m on social security! So I guess I’m disabled too! My niece who is working, gets a full time paycheck, but she got her $1,400 the 1st day they sent them out! I can’t even get disability, or unemployment! That’s not fair! My bills are pilling up, I have no help, and, I haven’t gotten my stimulus check! Why! My niece also had changed her bank account with a completely different account number, and they still found her and gave her an auto bank deposit! Can someone please explain this to me??

I have NOT RECEIVED any FUNDS, PLEASE ASSIST
For the ones on disability saying they didn’t receive any check. So because you don’t file taxes there’s no way for them to know but on the irs website there’s a non filers button tap it and fill it out. That will ensure that you get the next stimulus payment
