Chipotle provides access to full-time assistants that answer any benefit, healthcare, and pharmacy questions at no cost to the employee for all healthcare packages.
They can assist with researching care options, scheduling appointments, negotiating bills, answering treatment questions, and more.Telemedicine
The telemedicine benefit allows you to text a doctor 24-hours a day, seven days a week through 98point6.
The service provides Chipotle employees with access to certified physicians trained to treat and diagnose medical conditions over the phone. They can answer medical questions, fill prescriptions, assist with chronic conditions, discuss medication, and much more.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Chipotle’s EAP allows employees and dependents to speak with licensed counselors for free, either face-to-face, over the phone, or through virtual counseling sessions. This service is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week, and is strictly confidential.
Restaurant Crew Benefits
- Medical, dental, and vision plans
Chipotle offers four types of healthcare plans to restaurant crew members, both part-time and full-time, after they’ve worked 30 hours or more per week over 12 months.
Those plans include their Anthem Preventive Plus, Anthem Hourly PPO, Delta Dental PPO plan, and EyeMed PPO vision plan.
These plans come at a cost to each employee, which is currently as follows:

As a member of Chipotle’s management or support staff, you're eligible for three different medical plan options; Anthem EPO, Anthem PPO, and Anthem CDHP. If you live in California, you’re eligible for Kaiser.

401(k) Retirement Savings
All employees can pay into a 401(k), a retirement account to which you contribute a defined amount from each paycheck. After you’ve worked with Chipotle for 12 months, Chipotle will match your contribution up to a certain amount.Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)
Chipotle is a public company. Employees that have worked with Chipotle for 12 months have the opportunity to purchase company stock through their ESPP at a discounted price. The company deducts the cost of the stock from your paycheck.
Restaurant Crew Only
Annual Bonus
Chipotle crew members that have been employed for at least one year, and are currently in good standing, are eligible for an annual bonus each December as a part of Chipotle’s bonus program. The amount of that bonus is based on a percentage of their annual earnings.Quarterly Performance Bonus
Chipotle restaurant crew are eligible for a bonus equivalent to one week of pay if your Chipotle location achieves certain performance metrics. If you meet those metrics all year, you could receive one whole month of pay.Paid Time Off
Members of the restaurant crew with uninterrupted employment for 12 months can accrue up to 40 hours of paid time off. At the start of the year, they’re also given 24 hours of sick time. In some states, sick time is accrued instead of granted at the start of the year.

Chipotle pays the full cost of basic life, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, as well as dependent life insurance, short-term disability (STD), and long-term disability (LTD). After the birth or adoption of a child, moms receive up to 12 weeks of paid leave, and dads receive four weeks of paid leave. Leave must be taken within 12 weeks of a birth or adoption.Adoption assistance

When are you eligible for Chipotle benefits?
The restaurant crew must work with Chipotle for 12 months of interrupted employment to be eligible for benefits. Management and support staff are immediately eligible and must enroll in their preferred benefit plans within the first 30 days of employment.
