If we're not already involved in medical or essential work, we may feel powerless to do much about the current state of the world while under quarantine. And with many of us out of work as well, the wait to get back to work and a dedicated purpose can feel agonizing.

But you don't have to wait forever! There are new remote jobs opening up that can give you an avenue to meaningful work that can help your community stay safe and healthy.

How will I be helping?

These new jobs will have you helping your community by having you:

  • Track the spread of the virus from person to person to prevent further infection
  • Provide guidance, support and advice to infected and potentially infected persons
  • Coordinate information to public health bodies, care providers and institutions regarding the wellbeing of infected or exposed persons

These, and the other duties, listed below, ensure that your local community provides the best in care for those infected with COVID-19, while also protecting others from being infected by the virus.

Is it safe?

Like many essential jobs, these new positions are crucial to protecting countless lives from COVID-19. Unlike many essential jobs, the positions listed below are ALL work from home positions. While you will be interacting with COVID-19 infected and exposed people, you will be doing this all remotely, so you will not be placed under any heightened risk of contracting the virus, yourself.

Where can I learn more?

Check out the table below for more information on these job types, general descriptions of what you'd be doing, and links to where you can find more information.
