This company is offering another round of employee bonuses!

No one could have anticipated how long we would be navigating this pandemic together...
Lowe’s
While Washington takes second round stimulus support debate into extra time some companies are already making bold moves to provide assistance to their workforce during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.
Lowe’s announced last week that they will be extending the employee bonus program the company initially launched at the onset of the pandemic. Full-time workers will receive an extra $300 while part-time and seasonal employees get $150 during the month of August.
As we approach the start of another school year, our commitment to support our hard-working associates will continue into August.
Marvin Ellison, Lowe’s president and CEO
Why are we applauding Lowe’s?
While $150 - $300 won’t make anyone financially whole this the extra cash may help unforeseen expenses and extra end of month costs associated to the fall going back to school expenses. The roughly $100 million in bonuses raises Lowe’s total commitment to workers and communities since the start of the health crisis in March to $600 million, according to the company.
The companies employee basic benefits are not too bad either!
Regular full- & part-time associates have access to benefits that help them stay healthy - physically, mentally and financially. Other standout benefits worth mentioning include:
- Competitive pay
- Health, Dental and Vision insurance
- Life and Disability insurance
- Paid time off, including vacation, holidays, sick and volunteer time
- Flexible spending and health savings accounts
- 401(k) Retirement account with company match
- Employee Assistance Program with concierge, work/life services and no-cost counseling for all kinds of needs
- Education support programs, including tuition reimbursement and trade skills scholarships
- Business Travel Accident insurance
- Maternity and Parental leave
- Adoption assistance
- Lowe’s Associate Discount and broad discount platform
Don’t just take out word for it, see for yourself!

Nothing.the school is planning to substitute teachers instead of the lunch monitors. I don't know why, or how the teachers will be able to eat lunch while out watching children on the playground and cafeteria. I was a lunch monitor two years.
I was employed at Slidell Memorial they gave us 1% raise. What a let down they do not appreciate there employers.
