Is this my cue to leave?

It's getting harder to stay at my job. Lots of turnovers and I've been asked to train lots of new managers who are half my age. If I'm the only knowledgeable senior member on the team left, why am I not promoted and instead they keep hiring new people from outside? Starting to feel like I should be getting the hint to leave.

What's a good career for someone great at customer service? I've been doing this for a while, used to work retail. I have heard from customers and my colleagues including managers that I'm the best with customers. I feel like I don't have to try which is great. I never felt like I would be good at something.

Since I've been doing customer service for 10 years, I think I'm ready to become a supervisor. I would appreciate any advice for how to bring this up with my bosses #advice

Make sure you get a BS in MT or CLS. Get your ASCP certification. Work up to lead tech, supervisor, then manager or director. There's not much else above that unfortunately.

I agree with Heidi and also consider other roles outside of laboratories. I've also done pharmaceutical development and project management.

After being a convicted felon for five or six years I got tired of not working I found a way in construction to perform work and make money it wasn't constricted by lines of legal perspectives it was all about ability so I began to knock on doors literally and I learned mostly people are good but then I had to develop a way to find out if people were good truly it was a quest that was set before me and I began to see the way out of the darkness and provide for my loved ones insurance recovery gave me a new perspective in life although most are not apt at knocking on doors but then if you cannot see the outcome there's no way you can see your present time so I grew and grew quickly and now I still get tested so perseverance has been my bedfellow
