DynCorp offered me a position with them by supporting our troops in Kandahar AFG as a billeting tech for 2 years. It was the 3rd such venture into war zones to support our military and it was a wonderful experience all 3 tours, a total of near 6 years altogether. If possible I would return but Covid has caused the DOD to restrict overseas assignments to workers under 65 years old. I stayed in my last job until Covid caused layoffs of my age bracket.

The good old boy system..lack of counseling which allows for performance based on time with company. For example new hires despite performance would be let go before non performers with years on contract.
