Working for Comfortkeepers

The motivation was the clients. Every day when I went to their home they were always happy to see me and I was happy to see them. I was sometimes the only person they saw on a regular basis. The clients had wonderful stories to tell about themselves and many times I heard the same stories over and over. I would listen to their stories and pretend I had never heard them before.

Hi Cecilia, Would you be interested in any of these jobs I found in a quick search? You can also search for other jobs using these steps: 1.Double click on the “Jobs” tab at the top of the page 2.Enter a job into the search field that says “Position” 3.Click on the blue button to search for that position in your area 4.Once the list is up, click on the title of any you are interested in to apply. Let me know if you need anymore help!

How I became a Home Health Aide

I knew I wanted a rewarding career with great pay and growth opportunities - so I decided to become a home health aide (HHA)!! Its such an amazing career.

I help people who are suffering from a disability or illness by providing care in their home. I work with a lot of elderly patients and people with chronic illnesses. I do things like oversee medication, take vital signs, and change bandaging. I also help with housekeeping, bathing, and meal prep.

Here’s how I did it:

  1. I got my highschool diploma
  2. I volunteered at a local hospital to gain some experience
  3. I enrolled in a certificate program at a community college
  4. I completed my training hours
  5. I got state certified

Be sure to check YOUR state’s requirements, because it varies! https://www.homehealthaideguide.com/hha-training/states/

Hi Vicky, Customer service jobs don't pay as well as Home Health Aid. If you still wish to do that then try Medical facilities where you can use your skills to work in the front desk.. I would try to incorporate your skills in the customer service field and get paid better! Look for Jobs in Jobcase in the search bar type "customer service medical " You will definitely find something!

Good Luck! Allen.
