What's the biggest challenge of a Administrative Assistant job?
Solve the problems.
You better be good with people and problem solving at a minutes notice without rocking the boat to hard.
I believe the biggest challenge of this position would be time management, individually and as a team with your staff. To succeed, you must learn and understand the priorities of the office. With those priorities you can identify what should be accomplished and and in the order ro xomplete before the end of shift. If you have good relationship with the staff, anything is possible. Also, if it is a blessing ro complete tasks ahead of time, the staff takes good initiative to attack other responsibilities that may help you and staff for the next work day, or even for the whole week. Successes and integrity of accomplishments assist the company to provide better services for our customers.
I wouldn't say it's a challenge per se but I will say that if you're doing task for several senior executives that you have to know how to balance, delegate certain task, it's okay to say no and have a birds eye view of everything.
I would say keeping up with the ever changing work environment. In the age of computers and newer technology, you need to make an effort to try and stay on top of things
In my opinion, the most challenging part of being an Administrative Assistant is understanding the project that a superior is giving you. Sometimes they cannot even articulate what is the result they are looking for. You may have to look at the data and figure out for yourself what would be the best analysis or display.
Be very patient with everyone

It depends on who you are the AA for. An AA for a supervisor, a manager or an executive all have different tasks.
