In navigating today's job market first decide if you want to continue to work in the same field or do you want to use your experience in the call center elsewhere. As a person with limited experience I would look for programs where you could earn while you learn -so you can develop new skills and strenghthen your resume.

Look for opportunities that have work at home duties. The business aspect and the personal aspect are separate issues, unless you already have childcare handled. But work at home, especially with flexible schedule would be the target.

From what I’ve heard, there’s a shortage of dispatchers in some areas. If you can handle it, you could be an emergency dispatcher, they’re needed at all hours.
