only if you both want to risk of being fired together. I knew a guy who worked with his wife but he did something outside of his manager's approval and they both got let go. Now it's double the stress of no income instead of one. I wouldn't do it. If you run your own company and like messing with wifey during your break time, that's a different story ;-) (Don't ask me how many kids I have)

As a general rule no. Though I have worked for the same company as my ex husband, we worked at different locations, with no issue, if we did come into brief contact at work it was all business. It can be navigated, but I would say I would not actively pursue a new relationship with a coworker, that can turn into a mess. I've seen it happen too many times.
