Decide on three items that specifically you will bring to the role. This may be your unique ability to problem solve cost effectively. This may be your dedication to follow a problem until it's solved or it may be being an excellent team leader and building cohesion among groups. Whatever it is. decide how your particular skillset will aid the company in that position and then sell yourself.

It is important to recognize that Quality Assurance requires strong leadership skills and commitment to quality excellence. The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Documentation is critical, I can remember constantly reminding members of staff and leading by example that everything that is done must be documented and everything documented in the standards must be done.
