Let's all applaud the super jobs that these parents undertake. I can't find the best words to describe what you do. Deepest respect and admiration for the young men and women you are molding. May you all attain the best life ,Ford Simpson
I am a single dad who has 5 children and blessed. Three from with my first marriage and two that I have raised since my 13 year old was 3 and my 10 year was a newborn. The blessings of watching them grow and learn is worth it all.
I am a single mother of two and also taking care and helping my mother out because she’s ill and not financially responsible so thanks! It’s not always easy and working 40plus hours a week and the daycares only open so long sometimes it’s extremely hard but the love and dedication I have and strength to provide for my children I make it happen at all cost! Not by any means is it easy but the pay off and rewards of providing for my babies make it that much easier to find the drive to make sure they are taken care of and have what they need!!!
When you have people depending on you there is no such as thing as giving up.
Not that attitude I raised my two daughters and anytime I had to go to the office for any reason they would listen and do nothing (single mom) so when I really wanted to be heard I wrote the teacher, the principle and the district office and I did get something done. So this just do best you can does not cut it.
Way too many of them do a terrible job.
I Love this! We need more people like you!
I was a single mom with 3 girls it was hard but we made it
Wow, thanks!
Super moms and super dads, working AND parenting. THAT is tough!
I was a single mom of two small children working fulltime in Philadelphia with a long commute to my workplace. I had to take the kids to day care, as my mother wasn't one of those whose greatest pleasure in life was babysitting my kids for free, so I was on my own totally. I had to be all things to my little ones. I resent when spoiled women who don't work because the have that luxury of choice refer to being a "stay-at-home mom" as an occupation. It is NOT an occupation nor is it a form of employment. Employment is what you do OUTSIDE your family obligations for which you volunteered (on some level), to bring in money to support household expenses. I find it insulting to those of us who've had to be the breadwinner AND the only parent that these self-adulating women even post nonsense about the wages they should be paid. You don't deserve to paid for caring for your OWN children! That applies to mothers and fathers. It is absurd. Supporting our offspring, our children, is the big reason why we need to be employed (in the accurate sense of the word) in the workplace. It is NOT hard to stay at home and take care of your own kids. It is a privilege that many of us have not had. Those of us who have had to work fulltime AND care for our kids have had far less hours in a day to nurture and provide care for our precious little ones. We should be applauded for doing it all!
