How do you best file things in folders alphabetically? I was like Uh... with a folder for each letter, and then put the folders in alphabetical order...She said Good... good... and jotted down some notes.
Do you plan on starting a family in the next 5 years? SO illegal to not hire me based on that answer!!! Do not answer this question it is no one's business but your own. Simply smile and say I am unsure at this time. I didn't even consider taking the job after they asked me. The same goes for asking if you HAVE children. Companies like that should be ashamed of themselves!
If I called your best friend right now what would they say is your most annoying habit? I left the interview right then and there.
I was being interviewed by a cell phone service provider. The interview was going great, the manager was really nice but the last question really stuck out to me. They asked if this company implemented a policy that you thought was morally wrong, would you still follow said policy? I answered no and I said that if I thought the policy was wrong on a moral level that I would likely quit the job. That’s when I was dismissed from the interview. Needless to say, I don’t use that provider anymore.
I had a phone Interview and the guy asked what I was wearing which was no big deal but then he asked me to take my shirt off and that’s when I hung up the phone after trying to comprehend the question. The fitness world can be quite weird.
I always ask your two favorite colors in my interviews. You have to come up with something unexpected or it’s rehearsed and then you hire the wrong people and that doesn’t help anyone. But hiring the right people cuts down on turnover and makes for a happier team!
If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be? I was interviewing for a manager role so I went for a “decision tree.” I got the job.
I had a woman laugh at my current position with another company claiming her company was much better than that crappy place. I thought it was extremely unprofessional and gave off a mean grl vibe I COULDNT shake ..i was offered the job and I turned it down telling them I don't think THEY are a good fit for me. I was working so I had that luxury. It felt great
As a hiring consultant ... Its your reaction ... Not the answer ... And if you displayed your attitude as you are in these comments .. Wonder no more why they never called.
I started working at age 15 and have worked 40 to 60 hours per week for the last 35 years. Never drawn food stamps, never got anything from fema, drawn unemployment 3 times in my life. I was laid off for Covid March 11th . Was out for five weeks and denied unemployment because I had Covid. Unemployment is for people who don’t want to work.
