I’ve worked at tech, consumer, corp comms PR agencies for 10 years, 10 yrs at a big name luxury jeweler, doing events PR. Coaches approved my LinkedIn profile, resume, cover letter, portfolio and website. I’ve pursued jobs in marketing/events/PR/comms in consumer and luxury industries to no avail. #jobsearch #landinginterviews #targetingroles #application

@Deanna Zemke Hi Deanna, I’ve been there before and know how frustrating this can be. I’d highly recommend trying to make your resume Applicant Tracking System compliant, this made a world of difference for me. You also want to take keywords from the job listing and place it in your resume as well. Hope this helps and good luck 👍🏼

It's important to focus on creating a strong personal brand that reflects your expertise and passion in the industries you are targeting. While being a 99% match may not always be necessary, highlighting relevant skills and experiences in your application materials can increase your chances of landing interviews. Consider expanding your job search to include Jobcase, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job search platforms to explore a wider range of opportunities in the marketing/events/PR/communications fields. Networking with professionals in your desired industries can also lead to potential job opportunities. Stay persistent and keep refining your job search strategy. Good luck! #jobsearch #personalbranding #networking #jobsearchplatforms
