Do jobs at Uber pay well?I like Uber
I don't know as that job is unpredictable. What I am saying is that you never know how the customer is going to behave once they step inside the vehicle.
It all depends on when and where you drive. My normal full time driving days are Monday 7 am until 1pm on Wednesday in Seattle. I take two hour or four hour breaks to sleep or an hour for gym and food. Between the 4 services I drive for I bring in on average $725 and spend $60 to $80 in gas.
During the rest of the week I drive about 4 hours a day for 20 hours total and average $435 after gas. (7 am to 9 am and 4 until 6 pm)
It all depends if you drive long distances, or else your need to have a lot of small trips. And work early in the morning as prices go up as well as late at night.
Yes-I’ve been with them for 4.5 years. You have to drive to get it but, it becomes hands over first if you do! Good luck!!
Coachella-is the biggest money maker!! Airport’s next-
I worked mainly weekend overnight, yes I made good money. I want to go back but now I so afraid. Things have really gotten bad here with the car jacking and killing.
The key to getting paid well with Uber is to have a turnover rate that is eccable meaning there is no delay traffic and to get one customer right after the other.
I wish it paid better, but it helped me when I couldn't find a job. I struggled every month to pay my bills, you have to hustle to make money. I set daily limits for myself, $80-100 a day, $20 for gas. That usually meant I had to work 8-10 hours a day. I worked graveyard on the weekends in downtown San Diego and Pacific Beach. Start early, 6-7pm to 3-4am. You're going to pay a lot in taxes, I made $25,000 in one year, but $5,000 in taxes. Use your mileage, not gas receipts, it pays more. It cut the taxes in half. I liked it but just didn't make enough money, and felt like I didn't have to do anything but work.
