Hiring steps at UnitedHealth Group Find a position that looks good?

One thing that I love about UnitedHealth Group is their transparency during the hiring process! They tell you what to expect up front so that there is no uncertainty or confusion after applying.

One you’ve found the perfect job at UHG, here’s what’s next.

  1. Application: Find a position that looks good? It’s time to apply

  2. Application review: After you apply, your resume will be reviewed by our recruiters to ensure that you meet all the qualifications required for the job position you applied for.

  3. Assessment: Depending on the job you apply for, you may be asked to complete an online assessment that may be followed by a digital interview.

  4. Interview: If you meet all of the qualifications, a recruiter may initiate the next steps – this can be a phone interview, pre-employment assessment or video interview.

  5. Offer & Welcome: After the Interview process, a hiring decision will be made. If you are offered a position, it will come as a verbal offer of employment, followed by an email when you accept!

  6. On-boarding: Up next is on-boarding! Your hiring manager or recruiter will convey further details including start dates, benefits and important information.
