
In your experience, has corporate / the big boss ever taken anything you’ve said into consideration?
Im not talking about a major corporation, for example, in my company there’s 14 stores. The chain of command for each store is the same, my position, the store manager, the district manager, the vice president, and the ceo. recently we all got invited to a lunch with the vp & ceo and considering you have to pay to go, I think it’s only fair I get to bring up a concern. Right now we’re in a company wide hiring freeze, and they’re keeping our labor at 32%. if its higher, we get written up. But we are still incredibly short staffed to the point where we are having to cross train our 3 full time employees so we can make production. Its hard because we cant put out enough stuff to make money to be able to hire new people. #rant
