@Bill Branstetter Hello Bill, I find it useful to ask “what kind of challenges is the team currently facing?” This will give you an idea of what you might be getting yourself into.

I would ask the three things important for job security. 1) Are we considered one of the safest places & how are we ranked? 2) How fast can one move up in rankings if I was planning on make this opportunity a career? 3) When can I start? This shows you're ready to get started and learn the how, what, & when. If they said to call back in a week, call in 3 days. Show interest & buy into what the company has to offer, sale, & invest!

- Ask the interviewer what he/she likes most about working there.
- Ask how the position became open

Do you have a mission statement?

Does your company grow people ? Is there too. For advancement and what are the possibilities should I choose to return to school ?

You should always ask if there's room to move as far as a starting rate and if not you should ask about opportunities to move up. Everything is negotiable, just negotiate good terms and be a good salesperson. Show them it'd be harder to replace you than it would find someone else. Also, whatsup with all these companies with record profits, yet no ones wages are going up, and bonuses are not being handed out. Foods gone up, bills have gone up, and for working the same pay they're technically decreasing you pay...as it doesn't go as far as it used to.

I worked for waffle House for 31 years

My name is Joyce and I'm interested in more information about the position. I'm about to pass the background check.
