I think a lot of those jobs are fake. I get emails all the time for data entry y job and I go to the link and it takes me to a different job. I wish you luck. I’m in the same boat.

There are so many good legit companies as an Independent Contractor. Rely on viable job search boards like Indeed and ZipRecruiter. I actually work remotely from one such company that I found on one of these job boards. Been with the same outsourced company for 2 years now, and they seldom let me down.

I do know a couple of home agents who work for Amazon and Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Hard to get in because employees don't usually leave good companies. Keep trying. Your local DHS agencies are a good resource; be prepared to wait in line!

Check your local governments (county city state) websites. A lot of times they don't show up on job search websites but you have to go to the actual govt website
