Talk about the most work u done that they are looking for. I think that works. Or start your own business. There's no pint in waiting several years for them and they don't care. Okay. You are probably back up and they are hiring their cousins and still want your business. Move on fast.
First, you keep all your clients contacts and phone numbers for references. Then you just include the time spent cleaning on your resume. If you worked independently you just put self employed or independent contractor on your resume or application.
