Does anyone know of a way that we can speak with someone directly. The system is saying I have no weeks left. That’s not true?
I suggest do not give up calling . I had maximum benefits on my acct and when its time for me to certify last Sunday its said reopen so I did but after I filled up lots of questions and hit submit it was said certify on Jan 24. So this morning I called edd and fortunately an hour waits finally talked one lady. Asking my infos and in 3 minutes she said I can certify now. So do not give up keep I had my 2 weeks paid and the 300 boost per week. Goodluck. I am in California BTW.
I haven’t tried in forever, but the last time I did I used a speed dial app and it took about 25 minutes to actually get through and then I waited for a rep for another 45min to an hour. Suggestion: Let them ask you all the questions before you start asking yours, but of course have your questions ready to go.
I kept thanking her profusely and I truly believed it encouraged her to do a more thorough job. It he other reps I spoke with really didn’t care and didn’t investigate like she did. That’s all it takes is one diligent work we willing to go the extra mile.

Constance Johnson it might be updating if you don't see it qithing 24 to 48 hours then something is wrong with it thats what they told me when I called not the best of news sorry I have been on the call back list since December 27 an noting still unemployment is a full time job
I was going through a similar situation. I had a message saying something like "I had used up the maximum amount of my benefits on my claim and was unable to apply until for a new claim until the current year ended", I was going nuts, up until Tuesday night...
I woke up yesterday at 9 am an checked my UI acct....
I was ecstatic, my weekly amount plus the $300, for 2 weeks was there. I immediately certified my weeks an PAYMENT was in my debit card early this am

The Extensions were supposed to only be until the end of December from what I remember seeing on the news. So if you had an extension from your original claim send that may be why you didn’t get any more as of 2021. I know this happened with a family member as well.

Candice swick is that for all states or just some an what was the app an how do I do it iv called for a week now it say my number is still on record for them to call me back from 12-27-2020 thats bull shit an if it takes them almost 3 weeks to call us we are hearing the call shit they put on the web site is bull shit to it wont let you make an appointment im done at this point I dont know what me or anyone else is going to do I mean shit there not in the damn offices so have a better way people can get ahold of you all damn it.....
All claims for 2020 ended on December 31st. The extension begins on 01/01/2021. Check instructions for filing a New Claim.
When you login to your account tap on Chat with agent they will respond and are able to look at your account while your on whatever device your using at that time. They can make whatever changes need be. I hope this helps
