What are some points you’d bring up to your employer to further convince them if they were considering moving your role to a remote position?

Productivity does increase when remote

Working remotely helps the company save on expenses, such as: office cleaning, parking, work space, desk and equipment; security, electricity and other related operational costs. I enjoy working in my home office environment. It will take me .10 minutes to get ready for work. I will not risk being stuck in traffic or being late for work. I could save on grooming and wardrobe expenses. I am very reliable and self-discipline and my time management skills are great. I already know my job and it does not require me to be in the office 5 days a week. The work I do could be done from home and I could get a lot more done.

There would be no room for excuse of not being able to make it to work.

Well it is hard to clean remotely unless you have a very compliant staff

It would give children more time to grow trust in you and feel comfortable to seek help if needed

I would highlight potential productivity increase, like @Dave kimberlin mentioned, and also decreases in workplace resources including reduced electrical bills and office supplies.

work life balance for the employee would improve. Speaking as someone who went to a remote job during covid and did not leave, it has great benefits from the employee view as well as better engagement and harder work was seen for the company. It was a win for all.
