Provides the appropriate medical/nursing care required to meet the needs of the developmentally disabled population.
*Review, Coordinate and Implement Medical Care of each program participant.
*Annual and Quarterly Care Plan reviews for each patient
*Responsible for implementing the Physician's orders and to make sure the elements are included as mandated by regulations.
*Attend monthly nurse's staff meetings
*Attend interdisciplinary team meetings regarding program participants nursing/medical issues.
*Blood work; scheduling and filing once final results are in.
*Schedule appointments for the patients.
*Medicate and treat 24 patients per shift
*Prepare and administer medications by; oral, sublingual, intramuscularly, intradermal, subcutaneous, topical, dermal and inhalation routes.
