Served as the Chief Development Officer of this acute care community hospital in SE MA and introduced new and innovative Philanthropy Programs; secured the highest annual revenue receipts at the time for the hospital and directed a four-member development staff, and planned and directed a multi-year capital campaign without external counsel.
Recruited, trained and managed the activities of 25-member Campaign Steering Committee and more than 100 volunteers, represented the Jordan Health Systems on local business and civic initiatives including Chamber of Commerce, Education Councils, etc.
*Raised $10,000,000 in support of $28 million building expansion project. The two and one-half year capital campaign: To Keep Jordan on the Move exceeded the original goal by $7,000,000. Identified and cultivated largest planned gift in the organization history-- a charitable remainder trust with corpus of $5,700,000.
*Raised $500,000 for capital equipment used in the new Bailey Ambulatory Care Center through community campaign from sources that had never participated in a capital campaign before.
