I am responsible for providing individual service as a consulting therapist to a population of Mental Health and AODA in the South Eastern region in Wisconsin. In my duties as a therapist, I am also required to utilize the DSM diagnostic tool to assess the clients with known Mental Health and Substance Abuse problems. This assessment would also include the development of a treatment plan, that has been tailored specifically for the client in care.
As a member of the Black Swan Solutions first responder team, I am assigned to provide trauma counseling to the victims of mechanical and/or natural disasters by way of the call center or deployment to the actual site of the disaster. This position is an as needed position and all first respondents are given an option to participate in the activity as often as it is deemed a need.
As a backup staff, I provide supportive services to the staff for the homeless at risk youth when the staff are unable to provide coverage for the shelter. My duties are that of the staff in their absence, i.e., to maintain order as the overseer of the day to day functions of the house.
