*Administrative secretarial duties include maintaining CLE requirements and bar renewals, travel arrangements, expense reimbursements, creating templates and PowerPoint presentations at the request of the office manager; and other typical duties.
*IP Litigation in a Fast-Paced, Highly-Technical Environment: Work with the firm's DE attorneys and nationwide attorneys, clients, experts, consultants, and vendors.
*Duties include case management from start to close of case, including, but not limited to: performing conflict checks; maintaining cases in our document management system; docketing; scheduling depositions; efiling in Delaware District Court, Delaware Court of Chancery, and Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; drafting claim charts; assisting with deposition designations; pulling exhibits and case law; creating deposition, hearing, and expert binders; proofreading and finalizing all pleadings; assisting attorneys with various priority tasks; working with paralegals to close the case per a protective order, and handle other secretaries' cases during absences.
*In addition to the previous duties, manage trial logistics (local and various locations), including, but not limited to, the following: locate trial site, negotiate contract and coordinate set up of off-site trial work space (rental of office equipment, shred bins, etc.); assist with contract negotiations; coordinate with the court and equipment vendor; handle travel arrangements for witnesses, team and client; plan meal schedule for trial (coordinate with hotel or caterer); order and monitor trial supplies; assist with direct and cross-examination binders; update daily transcript binders for the team; and provide 24/7 support by staying in nearby hotel.
