I was a flight attendant for SWA for over 26 years. I am currently employed. I have looked for work down here in the valley but no one I mean the Dollar Tree. I tried stocking greeting cards and sunglasses but all that they had me do was bend and clean the shelves. I made $6.00 an hour for 20 hours a week. I have worked since I was 13. I taught arts and crafts during the summer at community centers in Lubbock when I was 13, At 14 I work at 7 Knights a steak house as a door hostess and then a waitress. All through high school. In college i worked as a bartender, cocktail waitress.a gift wrapper, at Gibson's pharmacy as a clerk and customer service for 4 years. I worked in college for Hemphill Wells the Neiman Marcus of Lubbock. I worked in the original store then helped open the new one when we moved to the Southplains Mall.I worked there for 5 years, I drove an ice cream truck one summer in college. I moved to Ruidosd, New Mexico and cleaned cabins and homes and taught school 3 thru 8th grade band and choir. I was also the asst. girls basketball coach. I then met my husband but I still taught school but i was also a hostess at the Sierra Swim and Racquet Club. In the summers I wok at the horse track in the Jockey Club as a bartender. My husband took a job in Houston and we moved there. I worked at Gallagher's and was immediately made the bookkeeper ad bartender. We opened a new store in Dallas and I helped open that store and was the assistant Manager. I worked there for 4years then I got the job at Southwest Airlines..
