Establishes and maintains processes and training to ensure ongoing compliance with all regulatory requirements related to occupational and physical therapy services. Conducts and directs compliance reviews and analyses on behalf of the Institutional Compliance Office to ensure compliance with institutional policies, third party payer contracts, and federal and state regulations. In this position I had the responsibility of developing all policy and procedure for the department. I was also assigned with Joint Commission readiness for our department and in 2015-1016 I was responsible for readiness of the division of clinical services, that included 9 departments. In this role I conducted mock surveys along department or division line reporting to the vice president of the Division of Clinical Services. Worked closely with infection control and environmental services to assure compliance readiness. It the department was found to have a deficiency, it was my responsibility to develop an action and put it into place.
