Many passionate amateur runners say the same and travel the country for their 26.2-mile fix.
Their times may have not been what they wanted in the Boston Marathon, but Meb Keflezighi found a way to make his and another top American runner's finish memorable. When Boston-based runner Hilary Dionne found herself close to the end of the marathon, she was surprised by Keflezighi, who grabbed her hand in triumph as the two ran across the finish line.
