Monogram Credit Retailer/a GE Capital Company

As a collector, my job required me to communicate with the public. Telephoned customers who had late payments and planned arrangements to bring the account out of collections. Actively listened to the customer to correctly document information. Clearly explained why I was calling, and educated the customer about their: billing dates, due dates, amount due, and why payment on the account was essential to prevent the customer from being reported to the credit bureau. This job gave training in negotiation skills, so my conflict resolution skills were sharp. My goal was to help the customer get out of collections and help the company collect on accounts. Always strived for a win/win solution. Customer service was a necessity in this job.
