Buyers Assistant

Worked directly under Toy/Book Buyer for Dollar Tree Stores. Ran daily and weekly reports, including, weekly top sales, top selling categories, and sales by department. Tracked shipments from vendors to our DCs to ensure they were prompt. Scheduled and kept up on all buyer's appointments, especially with vendors. Maintained strong relations with both Domestic and Foreign vendors. Ran extensive research reports on product whenever needed on areas such as sales, price margins, and shipping methods. Created endcaps and planograms for stores to use in our "fake store" at the Headquarters building. Unloaded and reloaded tons of product to make things fit just right, all Dollar Tree stores used the planogram that was created by me after approval from my supervisor.

Auto Replenishment Specialist

Replenished store merchandise on a weekly basis along with managing inventory within 30 plus stores. SKU volume ranged between 5-8K, depending on the store location and size. Responsible for the allocation of newly released items (dealing with CD's and DVD's). Learned how to profile 30+ stores (navy exchanges), sending certain stores different product, depending on the type of sales in each store. Identified merchandise needing markdowns due to low sell through. Monitored markdown pricing results and returned any non-selling items to the vendors.
