ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement social media strategies and initiatives across various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram and emerging platforms as identified.Track social media influence measurements, prepares reports on usage statistics, and continuously monitors coverage of all sites.Monitor and analyze trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy and applies appropriately to develop and cultivate social media outreach and social media communities and drive organization objectives.Execute design of landing pages using the resources created by senior design staff.Monitor, listen and seek opportunities for to respond to users in social media spaces, and engages in dialogues and answers questions where appropriate.Assist in creating, integrating and executing campaign strategies for increasing website traffic, followers and email subscribers through search engine optimization, keyword marketing, reciprocal linking, social networking, multimedia and interactive content to increase the reach of programs and attract and retain engaged audiences.Design, create and manage promotions and ad campaigns on social media and in email.Responsible for training of staff and volunteer leadership; educating committees and other volunteer leaders to learn the functions, strategies, and metrics of a social media campaign; and developing specific campaigns for various segments of the community.Coordinate with other organizations and individuals as required to achieve strategic aims.Ensure proper online messaging and relevancy and consistency of messages across multiple networks.Assist other communications staff with writing and layout for print materials as well as photography, videography, video editing and public relations efforts, as assigned by the marketing communications team. skill requirements:Bachelor's degree. You have an education in communications, journalism, digital marketing or public relations.Applied Social Media Experience. Applicants must have had a previous position where social media tasks made up at least 25% of their responsibilities. Software experience: HTML email production, inbound marketing concepts and Drupal. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite required, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint.)Communications leadership. You can juggle multiple tasks, allocate and optimize resources, and manage timelines.
