We discover product-market fit through testing, iterating and advocating for our customersYour Impact:Experienced, multidisciplinary digital designer that will provide strategic design services to iLab conceptsThe work will span the research and development of market and competitive insights, emerging trends and themes, and mapping customer journeys, needs and personas synthesizing and defining the problem spaceExperience supporting the development of digital concepts and product strategy, bringing prior experience in areas such as UX design, visual, branding, content strategy and digital marketing, in addition to strategic product designExperience using diverse research methods, quantitative and qualitative testing approaches, to validate hypotheses and test product desirability and usability in market including leveraging moderated and unmoderated testing platformsExperience advocating for the customer and ensure the E2E business solution is thoughtfully designed to support their needsExperience researching and presenting digital exemplars and leading ideation workshops that draw on multiple disciplines to build a concept vision through actionable insightsExperience developing storyboards, low and high-fidelity wireframes and visualizations to pitch ideas and show how they will transform how customers workExperience executing a rapid, iterative approach that enables fast experimentation, learning and co-creation with customersQualifications:6+ years in a strategic product design role, or relevant professional experienceBS/BA or Master's degree in (Strategic) Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Design Planning, Strategy or other relevant experienceUnderstanding and depth regarding latest technology trendsHighly skilled in user experience design principles and best practicesStrong focus on research methods, frameworks and toolsStrong expertise in prototyping and market testingAbility to work with a highly collaborative and iterative concept development teamStrong communication and product pitch skillsOn-line portfolio available for reviewPreferred Master's degree in business or technology - or in a design specialty field, if the BS/BA is in business or technologyExperience in a specialized design environment e.g., an agencyExperience supporting digital product design at a startupProduct and project management experienceKeys to Success in this Role:Ability to map the problem space, master the customer journey and empathize with them; hypothesize and test concepts, products and features to evaluate desirability and usability in order to achieve product market fitAbility to deliver and rapidly iterate to improve high-quality design products in a dynamic environment with minimal supervisionThe ability to collaborate and build strong working partnerships across multidisciplinary teamsCurrent Freddie Mac employees please apply through the internal career site.Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
