Unfortunately, a lot of us are in the same boat. Covid has cost me a lot, too much to type but thanks to ALL politicians, no help insight. I don't qualify for unemployment because I got laid off for my company being slow, caused by Covid but because of political BS, reported as being slow. Now, I'm behind 2 months rent, barely able to eat and denied unemployment. YEAH, America is really GREAT😭🤔😝

If you were qualified for the 13 weeks of extended benefits and you got taken off the schedule because you had to stay longer at work to get the job done. How can you be denied unemployment? Plus if your 15 year old was transported by ambulance to shands in Gainesville to have gallbladder surgery and plus both of your children were injured in an accident in August and the oldest child lives with me she stayed in hospital on life support from August until October she suffered a broken neck . She had a trachea which a hole in the front of her neck and surgery on the back . I also had that to deal with and now they won’t give me my money? How is that legal ?

If CPS took the children you should be able to DSS for them and for your self also emergency snap benefits. Depending on your age you may be able to apply for spouse survivor benefits through social security you must be 60 years of age or 50 if you are disable

Hi Tim, If I were you, I'd look into several construction companies at the unemployment office as they get first dibs on who is hiring in the area. Try looking into appliance companies and shopping centers that need maintenance. How about the thospitals?

Not sure where you are in the country but many churches have a benevolence fund to help in tough times- also another church here has a food bank that kept operating every week even during lockdowns. I would encourage you to reach out to some local churches for some help. They may be able to help in a job search as well. Truly sorry for your hardship.

First, do you mean "meter" or "the matter"? I'm sorry but it is hard to follow a run-on sentence, .... some punctuations would be helpful.

I'm sorry that you lost your job. Just for addressing your boss (something definitely wrong here...) about someone else. are you referring to The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability .... patient health information from being disclosed without the patient's consent or knowledge?

@Tim Henson

  • your approach was wrong. ... 🤔 about it... based on what you wrote. Just saying!
