Left job after being falsely accused

I work for a call center I was accused of wrong doing wrong was told I went to another agents desk grabbed his mouse and started playing around the screen. Hours later after the supposed incident took place I was called into a conference room to let me know the way I was being approached. This supervisor started shouting at me, I asked her to bring in the person she would not and being very disrespectful towards me. I then resigned send an email with my resignation. TSYS Credit Card is a joke, slave shop sad what they do to there employees. Lot of employees are Seniors and need the job and have no other alternatives but put up with their harassment.

I made sure my last boss fired me so I could collect unemployment. Ya I am still waiting to see a check from the unemployment office. My Boss always yelled at us, accused us (employee's) called us stupid and wouldn't give us our "by law legal" breaks. We never got a 30 min. lunch break or our 10 min. breaks-we, worked straight through our 8 hr. shifts. Also, our paychecks were always short. Not to mention all of the tax fraud and other illegal things he did/does. He is a very poor manager/owner and treats his employees so badly but some people need their job so badly that they put up with it. He actually fired me because he wanted and expected me to sign a paper without first reading it. Can you beleive that! Who signs something without reading it first. Once I was able to read the paper, it was full of complete lies. I even hired a law firm to take him to court because he was illegally taking money out of my paychecks and claiming I had never worked the hours that I had along with many other crazy situations that happened there. We use a payroll company and we also sign in/out for each shift. I had more than enough proof showing all of his illegal actions, the "fake" paper he wanted me to sign saying he took me to court and was garnishing my wages (which never happened) how badly he treats his employers and the fact that he was taking money from me. Can you guess what the law firm said? They told me "he said he didnt want to pay me anything" so they couldn't do anything about it. Are you F#%*^king kidding me! What has this world come to? Now, I am looking for a new law firm to represent me (obviously I picked a horrible one) and I have to report him for tax fraud. While, dealing with the government businesses trying to get unemployment and looking for a new job. All I can say is it has been quit an experience and still is. I still have not recieved my last paycheck and I was fired back in the beginning of September. If anyone has any advice or help for me I'd much appreciate it. Thank you for listening to my rant, just be careful when looking for a job because there are truly some scary businesses out there.

Talk to someone in ""The Better Business Bureau" ,they should be able to point you in the right direction, until then ,be careful where and with you,you tell what happened and talk about your old boss ,you don't want a counter claim for "defirmation of character,.. I don't know who reprented you before,(did a judge ever hear your case, that doesn't sound right to me).. definitely find another ""Law firm"...

In no way shape or form is that ok, Its one thing to be yelling at you but to FIRE YOU over something as small as that. Do companies believe in “coaching” anymore? Terminating someone is not always the best thing to do. Things should be investigated and evaluated!

Ron,

Not sure what happened in this event. After reviewing TSYS, they are the largest third-party processor for issuing banks in North America, with a 40% market share. It sounds like some internal professional development training is needed. I recommend being careful of sharing emotional comments on an organization. I am sure they have an appeal process for wrongful firing.

Ron, I am sorry to hear about your experience. I think it is for the best for you to move on and work for an employer that will respect you and not falsely accuse of you anything. I wish you luck. Good luck.

Jose

Hello Ron Sorry to hear what happened. I would ask for evidence (some companies have security cameras) that showed that I went to someone's desk. I am sure that in a call center (I worked in one before) there may be one there. As far as the supervisor that yelled, that is harassment and the company should have zero tolerance. In my opinion, that sounds like a lawsuit, you must provide documentation when you talk to an attorney.

Hello Mr Ron Garcia .... I'm so very sorry to hear of your such Heartfelt horrible situation .... I can clearly see from your words that you are a super fine gentleman and such a wonderful hard worker.... However I must remind you of a few things First off Washington state As we know a Right To Work state .... Trust me no one at all ever likes to be falsely accused .. In the past I've been bullied severely myself By others where as the cops wouldn't Ever do anything about the situation .... I've been severely falsely accused of such wrong doings .... You have options here ... Either one just let it go. 2 go find another job and give your last bad words of advertisement & or you could even go so far as take the company to trial ... Make them prove in Court .. No less that You NOT never did do anything wrong in the first place ... Come on. Let's face it ... You and I being here in Washington state is ... Nothing more than a Gillete Razor ...... Disposable. YA' use it once or twice then throw it away ... Welcome to being a Gillette Razor ..
