When I'm job hunting, I usually send out at least three applications a day. If the application process is quick and easy, I might send even more. But if it’s a long one with complex skill tests, I tend to hold back on how many I send.

As few as possible. Only publish to a job you seek. Ask yourself if this job is a career I want to get up to. I published 3 resumes, I ro just get an interview to test with, did not want the job, wanted to negotiate principles. Then I did 2 more and interviewed. Had 2 proposals and then I weighed the options. 2 wks 2 days later I am employed because I focused on what I wanted. Less is more.
