So after being in a position for 6 months I gave my resignation. I have held a management position for 14 years and education for 14 . I do not take my career lightly. I was promised to be made into a supervisor , but I was told in the Spring that would not be happening, that I did not fit their culture. I was going to get a lawyer ,but they are so expensive. All their supervisors are under 35 and had been hired out of school. ( I was most of their instructor) . The company seems to be made up of women ages 20-35. a couple of 40 year old. but not to many over 50 like me. I was treated poorly , yet I feel guilty leaving that company. Has this happened to anyone? The quilt? I even offered to work per diem to help out. No one responded to emails or phone calls.
