Unemployed Phlebotomist

I had to make a tough life decision that left me unemployed, single and brokenhearted. I can't find a job and I can't seem to find the strength to even look! Everything is becoming a blur phlebotomy was one thing that made me smile and now I don't know how to get back there! I truly want it back! It's like I'm in the twilight zone honestly and i cant wake up! HELP!!!

You can do all things thru God who strengthen you. Don't give up, in the name of Jesus. Amen

I hear ya, Tavani. I've felt like I don't have the strength to look either. Don't give up. Maybe you can get back into phlebotomy. Have you tried re applying in that field? Or looked into places that may be hiring in phlebotomy? Keep trying.

I would also say that you broke the workforce cardinal rule.

Do NOT do anything to lose a current job until you have something else lined up. Without knowing any particulars about this “tough decision”. Having the strength to look comes off as a bit melodramatic. You want to eat? Roof over your head? Then you better find the strenth to look.

I understand your problem but you should not be looking here for a therapy session. My mother taught me that when you get knocked down, you have two options. A) Curl up in the fetal position with your thumb in your mouth crying about how the world treated you or feeling regret for life decisions you made. Or, B) you can pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get on with it. Option A) usually ends up in you starving to death with the last words of “Woooo is me. Poor put upon soul who has had it hard.” B) is the better option because you get on with your life. It is harsh but true.

Tavani, first thing and most important, face your pain to move on. If it was a life decision it had to be the right decision. Forgive yourself and promise yourself that you will protect you. Dont know your situation but do know that sometimes we put ourselves last. Best focus is to dusk off and get back to putting yourself in a position that is going to gain value. Look at how you got jobs when you were unemployed before. What made them pick you? Let the universe be your guide with positive energy. Think winner. Our thoughts influences our journeys. Once you build your confidence your mind will no longer be cloudy. That new job is waiting so go for it.
Jobcase is your open door that's excited to help find you find it

Take L-theanine it's an amino acid that helps with stress, also take vitamin D, during the winter you need more of that to keep depression away
