When I worked with the Focus Learning Academy I felt I was able to make a difference with students who where often lost in the mix. The student demographic I worked with where students who often didn't have the support they needed in their academics to be successful. I helped give them these tools and some of my students went on to work in different jobs in the field of science. It was a very rewarding job.
