I’ve got over 7 years of warehouse experience in shipping/receiving, sorting, unloading, and a valid forklift operating certificate so why are all these companies only offering minimum wages? I just left a 2nd interview with a prominent national distributer that just opened a distribution center in this county. The 1st interview was great so I was expecting a job offer today but when it got down to salary they manager wouldn’t go above $12 bucks per hour. Isn’t my experience worth anything? How’s my family supposed to live off that?

To many mexicans will do those kind of jobs cause white people won't put up with crap wages let them staff up with dumb asses

Its better than nothing! Plus way better to be told yes than be rejected! Count your blessings rather to fall short of them. Ijs....

Yes, you are worth more than $12. Your skills that you have is worth every bit of $18+. I think you should look for other company's that offer more. By that being a new company to the USA they may not know what the positions for that industry is actually worth over here.

from what I see 15.00 to 25.00 per hour for a warehouse valid forklift with cert.... there are so many out there that will work for less and screw it up.. I started in Dock and Mail for 9.00 per hour.. up to 11.00 per hour... and I am over 60 years old... my hubby just got a parttime job.. how do we live.. very very very carefully.. nothing with frills .. we can wear the same clothes in pants and shirts.. and sweatshirts... now that he is no longer on meds that helps so much.....take the 12.00 at 40 hours a week and over time maybe.. and stay there no matter what.. dig in and tell yourself this is a foothold for the next 10 years... and hold tight.. for a good worker that stays gets to have the benefits finial given to them... promise..
Get away from that type of work no way upwards
