I just got a "Notice of "Determination" from EDD, even though I've been working since last year and haven't received UI since I've started that job. Are they going to force me to repay all of my UI benefits if I ignore this?

I am not an expert, but when in doubt consult a tax specialist and contact the UI office right away.

I'm just going to file the appeal and explain my situation thoroughly, hoping to straighten things out and clear my record of any potential wrongdoing. I did nothing wrong and did not take a penny more than I needed.
