I have had multiple interviews where the expected a degree for graphic design and i felt like it would be considered discriminatory to not hire someone with 10+ years experience and talent. Get the DEGREE!!!! WHy put it off?? Perhaps your skills put them off regarding expected salary. You live in a highly competeitive time and EVERYBODY is a graphic Designer these days. THe programs do the work and an interviewer may not recognize that it was a program instead of creativity that produced the portfolios he is looking at -- I dislike the digitizing of creativity --
