Questions to Consider
There are various variables to consider. One issue is your health? Are you in dire need of a medical professional to assist you in an ailing condition? Can you afford to pay for benefits such as IRA, medical and etc? Is the company’s environment a conducive one - As some organizations do not have idea conditions?
Otherwise is the higher salary one to allow you to pay for a decent benefits package?
One must analyze and weigh if the employer is in a great environment and respectful of its employees? Will the salary allow one to pay for a package on your own reasonably? Are there any medical items detrimental to your health?
They have to be cutting edge with technology and support staff. Engineers who can fix network problems fast and a team of strong communicators. If they are not supplying equipment I would be suspicious. To me it would be important to be expected to come in onsite. Weekly meetings or at least once a month, to touch base seems crucial for a strong team.
I used to be an engineering support person for Nissan for 4 years.
The main quality would be Technical support from Engineering or Management to assure my customers receives a quality experience. 🤔
