Why are some people not team players?
I always find myself taking all the load at work
Definitely a team player. Good customer service experience. Was highly respected by all employees.
A team player must be able to put their personal feelings aside and work for the good of the team in order to achieve the assignment.
Poor leadership leads to poor team ship. Lack of direction and poor management can lead to lack of enthusiasm and participation.
It all depends on how you were raised. So ppl who aren't thhe team you just. smile and nod and do your job. and another customer will come as soon as you finish this one. Hopefully it will be a better experience.
Great Hospitality Skills. The customer is always right.
It takes a village to make a team.
If you are taking on more than your fair share of the work, people will notice and start expecting you to take up the slack. It is the role of management to notice your efforts and reward you for it. If they don't, you need to speak up a make them aware, or you will continue to be taken advantage of until you can't take it anymore. Time to speak up for yourself!
Start documenting data and performance. Then use it to get a raise and or a higher position.
You may be surprised to hear this, but if you are always taking the lead it may be YOU Who is not a team player. I think I used to be a lot like you, any group that I became part of, I just naturally assumed that I would be the leader and I often ended up doing all the work.
I thought that I was the epitome of a team player, I was certainly doing good for the team, but later in life I learned that a team player is one who cooperates and brings out the talents and efforts in the rest of the team. If you just naturally do all the work they will let you.
